Water treatment technology for exposition ponds in the new hippopotamus and elephants houses, in Prague Zoo

A total amount of 1341 cubic meters of water and 599 square meters of water surface of indoor and exterior exposition ponds and pools are operated in four separate engine building. 

Scope of works: 

• All piping and reinforcements
• Pumping equipment
• Gross pretreatment technology (pressure screens, sediments drag-out, grinders)
• Sand filters technology
• Compressor stations, including piping and control terminals
• Complex system of water disinfection (ozone and UV lamps)
• Cooperation in the development of algorithms and subsequently of control system including visualization
• Forming of operating rules
