Municipal waste sorting and incineration plants

Mixed municipal waste sorting line

  • basic capacity series:  150 000 t / year
  • for app. 30,000 inhabitants
  • for municipalities, or municipality companies
  • manual after sorting of mixed municipality waste
  • Final product
  • crushed or pressed waste
  • waste disposal or incineration

Benefits:

  • perfect sorting of municipal waste to individual components (paper, glass, metal, plastics, textiles etc.)
  • reprocessing as secondary raw material
  • available also in so called mobile version (not fixed at the location of sorting)

Municipal waste incineration plants

  • alternative method of heat and electricity generation
  • social and hygienic dimension
  • improvement of life in large municipal agglomerations (the biggest producers of pollution)
  • waste incineration reduces waste weight by app. 20 ÷ 28 % of the original weight and its original volume to less than 10%
  • limited emission of carbon dioxide (related to CO2 equivalent)

Technical aspects of incineration plants:

  • controlled incineration quality with the objective to minimize content of acid components and organic compounds emissions
  • heat generated by waste incineration is converted to steam and used to drive conventional steam turbines or as heat of central heat distribution, it positively contributes to power balance of municipalities
  • waste volume reduction and their conversion to raw material for further recycling
  • reduced demand for capacity of waste deposits for final disposal of unprocessed waste
  • good quality scrap iron is extracted from the furnace clinker using a simple method (electromagnet)
  • separation of non iron metals (furnace clinker subject to high temperature on the grate - environment friendly building material)
